Welcome,
my name is Agne.
Are you ready to get a different perspective on how to live a purposeful life?
The imaginary perfect life
Many of us grew up with a programmed view of what success looks like and how happy we would be when we achieve it. Graduate from a prestigious university, get a good job, connect with cool friends and don’t ever have to worry about what you wish to buy.
However, I meet more and more people who have that successfully looking life, but are still unhappy. I call them watermelons – the outside is green, but inside is red. I was one of them too.
Purpose discovery journey
In 2019 I was faced with what I call “millennial crisis”. This was the time when I realized that this imaginary perfect life didn't work for me anymore. So I quitted my corporate job and went to rural Uganda to volunteer with women. I strongly believed that working in an NGO would naturally bring me my purpose. Unfortunately that didn't happen so easily… but it did taught me a lot!
My career break year allowed me to take a pauze and reflect. This was what I needed! While volunteering in Uganda, I realized that my previous work wasn't the problem. The issue was in my mindset – how I approached things. While now it all sounds like common sense and logical, it wasn't like this back then.
There are no easy answers
If only there was a canvas, e-book or a playbook which would guide us on how to live a meaningful life with continuous personal growth. That would make things so much easier! But in reality there are no easy answers, short cuts or ready to go frameworks. Everyone needs to go through this journey of self-discovery in their own way and pace.
By experiencing it myself over the last years, I feel a deep responsibility, need and desire to share stories and experiences which can point you in the right direction. This is where I can finally help you out! Every month I publish a carefully curated monthly newsletter to make you more confident and alert when you face certain questions or barriers to your progress.
Talisman for your purposeful life
During my purpose discovery journey I have spent two months living and working with women in rural Uganda. I had a chance to admire their strong passion and hard work in making recycled bead bracelets by “Kasaana Mother's Creation” group. I find those bracelets so original and beautiful!
After this experience I couldn't resist in creating an opportunity for YOU to be a part of supporting struggling families in rural Uganda. I hope you treat each bracelet as a symbolic talisman to remind you about your purpose.
